There’s something about July that feels like the world is stretched out in slow motion—in the best way. Maybe it’s the golden light that lingers past 9PM or taking lunch breaks on your patio as you soak in the sun. Whatever it is, this month brings out the dreamiest version of everyday life—and this moodboard is a compilation of the vibes I'm taking into the rest of summer.

Candles, lamp, woven bag, and limes against a sea backdrop. Table with peaches, bread, and wine on striped cloth. White top and denim shorts. Relaxed vibe.
Inspired by the breezy Italian coast, golden hour, tan lines and beach walks.

In the summer months I tend to live in a denim skirt or cutoffs and a elevated tank, like the one featured here from Reformation one of my favourite stores of upgraded basics and flowing floral dresses. For homewares I'm gravitating towards organic shapes and nature inspired elements.

This is the season of living by feeling rather than schedule. Evenings are for soft lamp light, flickering candles, and maybe journaling by the beach while your shoulders still smell like sunscreen. Or better yet, gathering with friends over a striped tablecloth, sharing bites, sips, and stories until the stars appear. Let your days be inspired by small pleasures. July isn’t about doing—it’s about being. Here’s to a month filled with sun-drenched slowness, iced coffee, and effortless joy.

June has officially arrived, and with it comes that unmistakable shift—longer days, warmer evenings, and the fresh energy that only the beginning of summer can bring. Our June aesthetic is rooted in simplicity: barefoot in the grass, bowls of citrus fruits on the kitchen counter, sunlight filtering through linen curtains. It’s a gentle invitation to step outside, breathe deeply, and let the season wrap around you.

Here's to a refreshing summer
Here's to a refreshing summer

I'm inspired by the tangy brightness of lemons, oranges, and grapefruits—nature’s own colour palette of sunshine. These cheerful pops of yellow and orange pair perfectly with clean whites, soft creams, and earthy neutrals to create a look (and feeling) that’s equal parts refreshing and serene.

Florals are also in full bloom—both in nature and in my seasonal wardrobe. Think breezy dresses, floral table linens, and bouquets picked straight from the garden or the local market. It’s all about effortless beauty and connecting with the outdoors, whether you’re hosting a picnic, enjoying your morning coffee on the patio, or taking an evening stroll as the sky turns golden.
